ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS & ECONOMICS
The Accounting, Business, and Economics Department of Muhlenberg College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor for the 2009-10 academic year. ABD’s are welcome to apply. The department seeks an excellent teacher who demonstrates a deep commitment to students in and out of the classroom. The position carries a 3-3 load that includes principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, and an elective. All fields will be considered, but preference will be given to those who are interested in teaching monetary economics or a finance course (derivative markets, multinational finance, investments and portfolios). ATHLETICS
Assistant Coach, Softball – Part-time, hourly-paid position, total expected gross wages not to exceed $2,500. Position begins September 1, 2009. Assist with coaching a competitive Division III Centennial Conference Softball team. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and implementation of practices, team travel organization, game management, and winter clinics. Bachelor’s degree and experience coaching fast pitch softball or student-athlete experience in the sport of softball required.
